Dial 105 For Help During a Power Cut From Sept 6

On 6 September 2016 a new Freephone number – 105 – will launch that you can dial for assistance in the event of a power cut.

This service is available to everybody, regardless of which electricity supplier you use.

It can be used to:

  • Contact the company that owns the local power lines, which is usually a different organisation from your electricity supplier.
  • Report a power cut.
  • Get an update on the outage.
  • Report damage to power lines or electrical substations.
